Today, Monday, the President of Al-Mahra University, Dr. Anwar Muhammad Kalshat Al-Mahri, inaugurated the distribution of scientific books to the libraries of the College of Education and the College of Applied and Human Sciences, with the support of the local authority in the governorate and the branch of the Yemeni Oil Company in Al-Mahra Governorate.
At the inauguration ceremony, which was attended by the Deputy Director of the Oil Company Branch, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Kalshat, the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Adel Maeili, and the Dean of the College of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Mohamed Al-Mujeibi, the university president explained that the scientific books that were purchased from the Cairo International Book Fair for this year 2023 were delivered. Pointing out that the university’s participation in the Cairo International Book Fair came with the support of the local authority and the branch of the Yemeni Oil Company, so that Al-Mahra University would be present in this international event among universities and scientific and literary institutions from around the world.
The university president confirmed that these books will represent a rich scientific addition to the colleges’ libraries, and the process of providing them with more books will continue in the coming years within the framework of the endeavors and efforts of the university presidency.
The President of Al-Mahra University also expressed his high appreciation for the leadership of the local authority represented by the Governor, Professor Muhammad Ali Yasser, and the General Manager of the Oil Company, Eng. Mohsen Ali Balhaf, for their support for the university, overcoming all difficulties and providing possible facilities, hoping that such support will continue, especially since the university is at the beginning of its establishment. and construction.
