Arabic Language Department
Arabic Language Department was launched with the faculty establishment in the year 1998-1999 with a number of (25) male and female students in the first year of its establishment. The number of students enrolled annually in the department varies according to the educational desire and career opportunities.

Mission
Preparing scientifically and skillfully qualified cadres with values that make them able to perform their scientific and educational mission, contribute to community development, raise awareness, and build an educational program that matches the requirements of teaching Arabic to remain as a source language.
Objectives
- Preparing scientifically and educationally qualified cadres in the field of Arabic language.
- Qualifying students/teachers to cope with the problems and challenges facing the Arabic language.
- Preparing students/teachers for research in the fields of Arabic language & its literature and solving the problems of learning Arabic language.
- Meeting the needs of the local and regional labor market for Arabic language teachers.
