Al-Mahrah / University Media: November 28, 2022. Dr. Anwar Muhammad Kalshat, President of Al-Mahrah University, chaired, on Monday, a meeting dedicated to discussing the university’s budget, in the presence of the deans of the Faculties of Education, Applied Sciences and Humanities, Dr. The open branch of Al-Mahra, his deputy, the director of the Student Affairs Unit in Al-Mahra, and a number of academics in the governorate. At the outset of the meeting, the President of Al-Mahra University welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance and difficulty of the establishment stage, and the need for concerted efforts to achieve the desired goals. The President of Al-Mahra University expressed his high appreciation for the efforts made by the committee to follow up the establishment of the university, headed by Salem Abdullah Nimer, Secretary General of the Local Council, and members of the committee. While Dr. Adel Muaili, Dean of the College of Education, spoke about the committee’s efforts in preparing the budget, presenting and discussing the proposed budget for the university and the academic and functional fields, with the specialist who helped prepare the budget, Brother Adel Al-Hanbasi. Observations and proposals were submitted through the interventions of deans, deputies, and directors, to be raised and fixed in the budget, and taken into account in the future plans of the university. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Anwar Kalshat, President of Al-Mahra University, thanked the Deanship of the College of Education for preparing and arranging this meeting, stressing the continuation of work and holding meetings during the next stage to reach what everyone aspires to.
